KilátóSáv Subotica – The Power of a Learning Community
The KilátóSáv training in Subotica created a strong and supportive learning community, reflected in the outstanding satisfaction rate of 4,9/5. Participants praised the interactive in-person sessions, practical and accessible content, and expert facilitation, while suggesting more face-to-face time in future editions. As a blended learning program, KilátóSáv successfully balanced structured educational goals with personal development in a safe and engaging environment.
Following the call for applications, 20 participants enrolled in the program, many of them expressing deeply personal motivations for joining. Several sought tools to navigate unfamiliar life situations, while others aimed to improve their communication skills and invest in personal development, including new professional ventures. As one participant wrote:
“I encounter new life situations that are unfamiliar to me. I hope this training will help me handle them more easily.”
“I have started my own business and want to communicate professionally with current and future clients. At the same time, I place great emphasis on personal growth.”
Throughout the training, a total of 20 individuals participated in at least one session. Attendance per session typically ranged from 14 to 18 people, which indicates a high level of engagement and continuity within the target group. The consistency of participation speaks to both the relevance of the content and the strength of the group dynamic.
Participants reported particularly high satisfaction with the clarity and applicability of the theoretical materials, the usefulness of the practical exercises, and the warm, interactive atmosphere of the in-person sessions. Several highlighted the supportive environment, the commitment of the facilitators, and the personal insight gained through reflection and group work.
The time passed quickly – I often felt I wanted to stay longer.”
“The group atmosphere, openness, and mutual support were incredibly empowering.”
Areas for improvement
Some participants noted that the online sessions felt less engaging due to a lower level of interactivity and denser theoretical content. There was a clear preference for more in-person meetings:
“I would have preferred if the entire program had been in-person.”
“The theoretical parts of the online sessions were less captivating.”
Future directions
Although the blended structure was defined by project parameters, feedback suggests a potential for adjusting the ratio in favor of more in-person learning in future iterations. Simplifying and streamlining the online content, while offering even more practical, real-life applicable tools, could further enhance learning outcomes.
KilátóSáv Budapest – Depth, Practice, and Flexibility
The Budapest edition of the KilátóSáv training highlighted the value of structured learning, meaningful facilitation, and strong group support. Participants praised the clarity and relevance of theoretical content, as well as the practical tasks. Feedback pointed to a need for enhanced interactivity in online sessions and more tools for applying learning in everyday life—insights that offer clear directions for future development.
The call for applications attracted a high level of interest, with 31 individuals applying to join the training. Many applicants expressed a strong personal desire to strengthen their self-awareness and learning strategies. One participant’s words encapsulate the inner motivation shared by many:
“I’ve struggled with learning all my life—I feel I never truly learned how to learn. I lack the methods I would need. I barely managed to graduate high school, and I couldn’t finish university. Even at work, I feel like I can’t develop as I’d like to, despite trying. This program seems like a great opportunity.”
During the training period, a total of 18 participants attended at least one session. The intensity of participation varied from session to session, largely due to individual circumstances such as unstable housing, limited access to technical resources, family obligations, and conflicting work schedules. However, those who engaged with the online or in-person components did so with commitment and significantly contributed to the group’s dynamics and overall learning outcomes.
Participants particularly valued the practical knowledge, the approachable and professional attitude of the trainers, and the personalized support they received. Sessions that incorporated lived experience and real-life examples were especially well-received.
“Thank you so much for the personal support and the opportunity.”
“The trainers’ attitude and the opportunity for in-person connection made a real difference.”
